Task 1: Survey

Cinema plays a vital role in films income and takings, however as technology develops this could be starting to change. So to see how audience consumes film we did a survey on the target market audience that cinema's try to appeal to ages 15-25.

What kind of films are they?
All these films which are top grossing films are classed as blockbusters.
They are all in the top 5 grossing films because they are easily accessible and easy to watch, because all blockbuster films are shown in cinemas for a long amount of time which means that more people will go to see the film. Also 4 out of the 5 films from above are all sequels meaning that they already have a loyal audience, who want to see the sequels to the films.

- Only one of the films from above are aimed at children this is because Inside Out is released in summer around the summer holidays. Also they are released around award season most of the films, which means that these films are more likely to attract adults and not children.

- Inside out is produced by one of The Big Six which is Walt Disney. Jurassic World and Fast and Furious 7 are produced another one of the Big Six which is Universal Studios.
